Unlike the usual full-digital portable amplifiers, SOUTHCOBOTICS focuses more on developing
real analog circuitry, adopting digital technology just as simple tool, like a “screwdriver”.
This is, according to us, the BEST of these two worlds: a very simple digital control (but very efficient
and versatile) servicing a full-analog signal path (with no DSP!) allows to deliver more than
350W RMS on two power stages with different classes, to achieve a scary power on the low-end
but also the most crystalline sound in the highest band.

IRUKUNMI with its unique and original design is a one-of-a-kind ground amplifier (combo wedge), handmade in Italy and designed to turn every technical compromise into an advantage.

A small 6.5" woofer, made exclusively for IRUKUNMI with exceptional features to develop the same sound pressure as a large 15" speaker, coupled with a neodymium tweeter amplified in class AB (for high-quality sound), offers faithful and powerful reproduction for every instrument, anywhere.


IRUKUNMI is very small, but owes its incredible power to a 10“ passive radiator placed on its bottom, capable to extend the mechanical characteristics of the small 6.5” taking full advantage of the 350W RMS of its powerful Class-D amplifier.
The small woofer is also equipped with a special software thermal protection system, based on mathematical models: you can make the most of its dynamical range without any risk of damage.

A mixer with three pre-amplified channels gives a completely analog signal path to your sound, but all the available adjustments are managed via a simple and exclusive digital control system designed by SOUTHCOBOTICS.
No more worrying about breaking off knobs when you’re carrying it and scratchy noises.
Instead, you can SAVE and RECALL your entire setup on up to five different memory positions. Furthermore, the last saved setup will be recalled at the power up with only a button, if you want.

Finally, you can supply your FX pedals and pedalboards with 9V and 12V directly supplied by your IRUKUNMI for the pedals you love (but also sequencers, drum machines and other 12V powered devices) and eventually link out IRUKUNMI to an external PA system via its integrated D.I. Output.
All this with very small size and weight: you can trasport IRUKUNMI on shoulder like a backpack, carrying everywhere you need, and fix it stably on any surface thanks to its interchangeable feets.

IRUKUNMI is a combo-PA hybrid equipped with many innovative elements, designed to extend the functionality and performance of a musical instrument amplifier to the linearity of a Public Address system.
Traditional guitar and bass amplifiers typically have response curves with relatively similar trends.
Bass amplifiers equipped with a high-frequency section (compression or horn tweeter) more closely approximate their linearity to that of PA systems.
Yet, “the “fidelity” of a PA system is exactly the opposite of what one would expect from a guitar amplifier.”
IRUKUNMI bridges this difference by adopting the technology of STYLES (BEHAVIORS): two on-board modifiers that convert the behavior of the two different power stages.
It’s thus possible to create four different combinable options with the four equalization bands already present on channel n.1, transforming the sound to achieve the best linearity in frequency response (PA approach), or the typical style of American and/or British guitar amplifiers without the need for impulse response emulation.
